Announcement

  • July 28, 2016: The leadership of the CMSC and the NARCRMS team are delighted to update that five patients are now enrolled in our registry by the MS Clinic of Central Texas, Central Texas Neurology Consultants and that the University of Texas HSC-Houston MS Research Group  is poised to begin enrollment. We thank the sites for their efforts in launching the registry and enrolling these patients. We look forward to increased enrollment and site participation over the coming months.

Mission and Vision

  • The NARCRMS mission is to provide clinicians and researchers with a greater, more integrated ability to track the incidence, prevalence and longitudinal history of MS. Through information sharing, NARCRMS will improve the understanding of MS and will facilitate care at every level.
  • Our vision is for NARCRMS to collect complete patient and physician datasets to track incidence, prevalence, and the longitudinal history of MS over time. Physician-collected data will include neuroimaging scans, genetic markers, EDSS/cognitive assessments, and specimen collection/testing for identification of biomarkers of disease progression. Patient-reported outcomes will complement clinical information.
